This Gorean 'kurt' is faithful to the description in the books, having been specially designed for the Gorean lifestyle.

Description

Kurt:

” “A whip,” she said, puzzled. Seeing my interest, she brought it towards me. I stepped back. She held it across her body. Its handle was about eighteen inches long. It was white, and trimmed with yellow beads. Depending from this handle, at one end, pliant yellow straps, or lashes. Each was about two and a half feet long, and one and a half inches wide.”
Kajira of Gor, page 43

“Eta lifted up a stout whip, with long handle, which might be wielded with two hands, and five dangling, soft, wide lashing surfaces, each about a yard long. “Kurt,” she said. I shank back. “Kurt,” I repeated. She lifted up some loops of chain; there were linked ankle rings and linked wrist rings, and a lock collar, all connected by a length of gleaming chain running from the collar. It was rather lovely. It was too small for a man. I knew, however, it would fit me, perfectly, “Sirik,” said Eta. “Sirik,” I repeated. ”

This girl has been a kajira for over 28 years now, she knows well what the books state and what items of the Gorean lifestyle would like if made by what John Norman wrote, It is extremely hard to know just what the exact product would look like given that all but the cover of the book series of Gor had any kind of drawings/photos inside of them.

I am of firm believe that this product is as close to the way it is described in the books of Gor that the lashes are correct and the length is correct of course though there are no yellow beads on this kurt handle neither is the kurt of a white colour **again a preference** on the owner whom ordered this most likely because the person it was made for did not require them placed on there.

I also know the person that designed this kurt also using the knowledge that He has from knowing the books and knowing the lifestyle so well.

If I could afford one of these I would buy one

Just remember like all things out there where there are NO photos of such an item that has been written about in a book then people will come to their own conclusion on how it should look and considering the photo above is damn near the way the quotes show considering that the quotes in the books in fact show different designs wellI am of the impression that it is in fact a Gorean kurt
